The trail bears from its starting point on the main road between Velká Úpa and Pec pod Sněžkou. The first signpost can be seen at the turn leaving the road running to Pec (right-hand side) where a narrow footpath leads up. Go on along Šraml Stone-Paved Road, renewed in 2002, which is covered with soil for your comfort.
Don't miss stunning vistas together with unspoilt countryside and set out to explore less known corners of Pec pod Sněžkou and Velká Úpa.
Children-friendly
In Šraml you can join the new children's footpath Putování ke Krakonošově zpovědnici (The Journey to Krakonošova Zpovědnice Wish Box) and discover Louka smyslů (The Meadow of Senses), the area including a playground. You shouldn't miss a nearby Emma's observation point just below the playground.
