"The oldest building in Pec pod Sněžkou (year 1644). Hans David Hofer (local magistrate) founded an inn called Petrzer Kretscham in this house in the 1870s - today Hospoda na Peci. The business was run by Mr. Hofer's descendants until the inn was nationalized (1945).
In the years 1956-1959, honorable repairs and transformations took place here for the purpose of self-service, which was to be established in this building.
In 1996, the historic house was declared a cultural monument."
