SKI-Port skiing area
The renowned Krkonoše winter resort with the capacity of 4,100 persons per hour, an aerial and three surface ski lifts, two children lifts, perfectly maintained ski slopes and evening skiing is an ideal place for a family holiday. The area has grown in the 2011/2012 season, being supplemented for cooperation with the Ski Pec pod Sněžkou area and the children ski area of the Sagasser Hut. It contains a maintained snow park for freestyle & snowboarding.
Transportation is possible by a free ski bus, public transportation or by own car: a car park and a bus stop are located directly below the ski slope. The Velká Úpa ski port is also a popular starting point for winter hikes.

Ski slopes in the SKI-Port area:
- PORTÁŠKY: red slope, the longest ski slope in the area, wide, aerial ski lift
- HOFER: red slope, parallel to the Portášky slope
- MODŘÍN: blue slope, evening skiing, suitable for families and school groups
- BABYLIFT, children lift for the teaching of beginner children in the centre of the area
- CHILDREN SKI AREÁL OF THE SAGASSER HUT: children area with a ski lift and a baby lift
*A separate fare for the children ski area of the Sagasser Hut covers solely the fares for the children ski area and a return ticket to the aerial ski lift.
